I’m Katelyn - the heart behind Wholehearted Handiworks.
Wholehearted Handiworks has been unfolding for practically my whole life, layer after layer, just as I have. All of my creative “messes” as a child have spun into my current enjoyment of cooking, ceramics, painting, hand embroidery, and sewing. I am (as my brand is coined after) a wholehearted person. I’m all in or all out. My motherhood has been the exact same. I stepped away from a hard-fought, three-year pursuit of home birth midwifery and loving on mothers as they meet their own littles once my sweet boy was born, and we’ve been inseparable since.
I’ve always loved creating and working with both my hands and heart. As a first-time postpartum mom, God planned for creativity to bubble up as it has in many facets during my life to breathe a fresh wind into my new identity as a mother.
As this role has developed for me and my family, so has the way creativity, vision, and artistry unfolds in my day to day life. The handiworks you’ll find here have added a luster to our home and my motherhood, and I hope that I can create something that shares that luster with yours as well.
